Sometimes we just need a quick chat and a little bit of reassurance. Mini video consultations offer an affordable way to ask those niggling questions and build your confidence.

For example:

“Is my baby latching well?”

“How can I pump more milk?”

An opportunity to discuss your breastfeeding journey and your feelings around this with someone who understands the emotions and challenges around breastfeeding, and has training in trauma counseling skills

Many people often feel safer at home. I am able to provide home visits in and around Weymouth, Dorchester, Poole, Bournemouth, Yeovil, and Bridport.

A home consultation usually takes between 90 mins and 2hrs, and includes a follow-up telephone call and 2 weeks of email or text follow up support.

Please note: Only available within 30min drive of DT3 6BT. I charge 45p per mile for travel outside of 5miles from Weymouth.

1.5hr consultation

Preparing to breastfeed can be an amazing, and nerve wracking time. Whether it’s your first child or third, introducing a new member to the family is a big change. This package includes a home visit shortly before your baby is born to talk about any worries you have, and to go over how to get breastfeeding off to a great start.

You will then receive 2 postnatal visits in the 4 weeks after birth, when you feel you need them the most.

Having regular contact and support during those first few weeks can be invaluable. Helping you to settle into life with your little one.

Fee: £210

A session to help prepare you for breastfeeding. We will debrief any previous breastfeeding journeys you have had and how you felt about these, to help you begin with a ‘clean slate’ with your upcoming breastfeeding experience.

We will talk about how breastfeeding works, and how to get off to a great start – exploring how a plentiful milk supply is made, feed frequencies, signs things are going well, or that you may need extra support (and where to get that support!) Positioning and attachment, antenatal expressing if relevant, and any questions or worries you have about breastfeeding your baby.
